Heat Wave Goodbye Experience the world from the second story and follow a young girl who finds solace in spying on the patrons of a laundry mat across the street from her home. As distance grows between the girl and her family inside of the apartment, she falls closer and closer into the world of people living on the other side of the curtain.  

****Heat Wave Goodbye was published in Sand Lit Magazine in June 2009 and was a finalist in Glimmer Train Press’s 2007 Fall Short Story Contest.
