The New Face of Business

20090413_larrylevine_190x190When the word “Consultant” comes to mind, most people conjure up an image of a professionally dressed business man with a briefcase. Typically your mental image does not look like this guy.

Larry Levine owns and operates American Prison Consultants, a firm designed to help white-collared criminals prepare for their stay in the big house.

He and other Prison Consultants have been popping up in the news lately since Bernie Maddoff hired Herbert Hoelter to give him advice on how things work on the inside. Hoelter, who holds a Masters Degree in Social Work , is recognized as one of the leading experts in the federal prison system and is also an author of numerous books and articles on criminal justice. He holds a pretty nice resume… but not compared to Levine.

On Levine’s Website (warning: this site has sound), he showcases his resume like any other professional consultant would, proudly listing his places of higher education. Places like California City Correctional Center and Nellis NV Federal Prison Camp are among his eleven previous “places of employment.” His website also lists his services, which include an introductory Federal Prison Survival Crash Course, or Fedtime 101, for only $999.00.

So don’t give up on your dreams of someday becoming a rich, world traveling, consultant. If this guy can do it, so can you.
